Ten Days. Thirteen geographers. One amazing experience.
In the fall of 2014, a class of thirteen geographers set off from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to learn about the regional geography of northwest Oregon. What they soon realized was that this corner of the state was the perfect place to examine the physical and human geography outside of the classroom. The undergraduates developed research off of individual experiences prior to, as well as on the trip. This website highlights the culmination of their experiences of their time in Oregon as well as the research they produced upon their return to Wisconsin. With hope that you enjoy the narratives of their travels and the explanation of the research, please explore the website for an educational tour of the regional geography of Oregon.
